How (And Why) We Celebrate The Year At Yearly Co.

As this year draws to a close, my reflections are centered on profound gratitude for my family, friends, and the fulfilling work we do at Yearly Co. Looking ahead, 2026 holds significant milestones: we will celebrate Yearly Co.’s tenth year in business with a major celebration in June, and I will be turning 40 in April.

Being a full year out from breast cancer treatment feels like a truly wonderful fresh start. I am keenly aware every single day of how fortunate I am to be healthy and feeling more like myself. Cancer was a powerful, if unwelcome, teacher, reminding me that we truly never know what lies ahead. It has underscored the importance of savoring every small and big moment that brings joy. I am ready to embrace 2026 to the fullest—not at full speed, but with full focus and intention.

When I first started making gold bangles in my garage, I honestly never envisioned hiring a single employee, let alone a thriving team of 20.

Each phase of growth demanded more help in areas I couldn't handle alone or lacked expertise in. Hiring, while often scary, has also proven to be both the hardest and most rewarding part of being a business owner.

Celebrating your team means recognizing the profound impact of collective effort.

I have had the privilege of witnessing many of the women at Yearly navigate significant life changes, handle personal challenges with grace, and grow into more confident and capable versions of themselves. I love seeing the myriad ways everyone brings their unique skills and talents together. When we are all gathered, I always have that "pinch me" moment—because it’s hard to believe that without my little passion project in the garage, we wouldn’t all be celebrating another wonderful year of working together.

Our core values at Yearly are: integrity, quality of product, customer service, growth-oriented mindset, and teamwork/no drama. I am deeply proud to say that this group embodies those values, caring deeply for both our customers and for each other. We also share a lot of laughter, a love for good food, and a dedicated Slack channel for “snaps” to celebrate one another’s daily wins. What a great group! I am incredibly lucky they are a part of my life, and it feels wonderful to dress up and let loose together at our annual holiday party.

At the end of each year, we love to throw a special party to celebrate the team's many accomplishments.

I am so proud of the group we have built at Yearly Co. and how much they care about our customers' experience and making quality, meaningful jewelry. We have grown steadily over the years, and now have 20 people on our team across our office, studio, and retail store locations.

This year, the party will be hosted at my home for dinner, drinks, and entertainment provided by a local singer/songwriter performing country music. I absolutely can’t wait to see everyone’s “Golden Roundup” attire—think a blend of fancy, holiday-ready elegance with a touch of country flair—and to raise a toast to all we accomplished in 2025!

I regularly share my outfits, bargain finds and investments on my Instagram. Follow along here if you’d like to see more! And never hesitate to DM me with a question or if you’re on the hunt for something, the only thing I love more than shopping for myself is shopping for someone else!
