Our 2026 Travel Plans + Q&A with our Travel Agent

Everywhere we plan to travel in 2026 + an exciting Q&A with the travel agency we use and love!

Our 2026 Travel Plans

January: We started the year off with an amazing trip to Miami with my leadership team for our annual EOS meeting. We stayed at the Andaz Hotel and had incredible meals at Cecconi’s, Mila, Aviv, and Uchi, while also making time for some shopping in the Design District.

February: I plan to stay home to focus on recovering from my final reconstructive surgery.

March: We are booking a family trip back to Miami for Spring Break! We love the quick flight and the amazing food, and my girls are already excited to swim and explore the beach.

April: This is going to be a huge travel month for our entire family. My parents are taking all of us—including my siblings, their spouses, and all the cousins—to Hawaii. We have done this trip together before and always have the best time staying at the Mauna Kea on the Big Island. I also have a major milestone on April 24th; I am turning 40 and heading to Palm Springs for a fun weekend to celebrate the big day!

May: May will be a mix of work and travel, starting with our Glassybaby Pop Up in Seattle from May 1st - 3rd. Shortly after, I’ll be in Charleston from May 8th - 10th for a concert and some quality time away with my husband.

June: In June, I am heading to Connecticut on the 5th and 6th for a pop-up at the Fennimore Lane Design Summit. From June 9th to the 21st, our family will be traveling to London and Croatia. We plan to spend two days in London to adjust to the time zone before heading to Sumartin, Croatia, for a week at the same house we rented last year. We had such an amazing time at this spot previously, and we feel so lucky to get to go back with our girls this time.

While that is all we have officially scheduled for now, I imagine we may sneak in another trip to Los Angeles or New York for some work meetings. Late summer and fall will also be a great time for Yearly Co. pop-ups in Northern California and more cities where we can see our amazing customers. We are already looking at the calendar and wondering—where should we go next?

Q&A with our Travel Agent

Our dear friend and travel agent, Dainee Ross is the co-founder of Memora Travel Co. She has offered amazing support for all our travel needs. We couldn't be happier with how she manages our travel experiences. I’m attaching a Q&A with Dainee below for anyone interested in the process / working with them.

Can she do any location worldwide - like India?

Absolutely! I’m actually planning a trip to India right now for a family traveling over the holidays. I work with trusted local partners around the world, so I can plan just about anywhere—from a local staycation to a honeymoon in Patagonia, a safari in Africa, or a family adventure in Morocco (I have recently planned all of these). There are very few destinations I don’t cover!

Does she charge for the service? A lot of them do not and I have always wondered how that works.

Yes, I do charge a planning fee, which varies based on the complexity of the trip. That said, clients receive significant value in return—access to exclusive perks and expert support throughout the entire process.

Daily budget range she works with?

I work with a wide range of budgets and don’t require a minimum to get started. That said, I do specialize in 4.5–5-star hotels and private rentals, as well as private touring and transportation, so most of the trips I plan align with that budget level.

What does she charge and how does she determine the fee?

The planning fee is based on the number of travelers, length of stay, and complexity of the trip, but full service planning starts at $400. Every trip includes access to valuable partnership perks—like daily breakfast, resort credits, early check-in, and room upgrades—so clients receive a lot of added value in return.

If price weren't a consideration, what locations would she most recommend?

**heads up that I think this question is kind of a tough one because it's so personal...also I live in CA, so logistics are different for me!**

Another great question! My travel wish list changes all the time—typical for a travel advisor! Living in California, I’ll always love a quick getaway to Napa, Cabo, or Hawaii—they’re familiar and never disappoint. Vietnam is at the top of my wish list for 2026. I was in Italy last year, and I will be going back again this summer. It's one of my top booked destinations and a place I always love to return to. For locations I would recommend for clients, it truly depends on the traveler, the purpose of the trip, and the time of year. Let's chat—I would love to help curate your bucket list.

If you use a travel advisor, can you use any of your loyalty or credit card points to book?

You can earn points and link your member number to your bookings, as we typically book directly with the hotel. We allow for points to be used for air bookings, but we do not offer full planning services when accommodations are booked on points.

How does their compensation work? Are they paid by the hotels and airlines and does that make the bookings more expensive?

Travel advisors are compensated in two ways: a planning fee paid by the client, and commissions paid by hotels, tour companies, or other suppliers. However, not all suppliers pay commission. That said, the rates you see are the same—or sometimes even better—than booking directly. Hotels build commission into their pricing regardless of how you book, so using a travel advisor doesn’t make your trip more expensive. We never markup online rates, and many of the tour and transportation companies we work with only sell through advisors, giving our clients access to special pricing and experiences not available to the general public. I am very transparent about pricing, so never hesitate to question or ask!

If budget travel is a priority, where can one's money be used to the fullest?

Great question! It really depends on your destination, travel style, and priorities. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer—but that’s where I come in. I help clients understand how to make the most of their budget by identifying where to splurge and where to save, based on what matters most to them.
